Clara & Kornuiten beëindigen bedrijfsactiviteiten in Het Armhuis Vlieland
Na meer dan twintig jaar komt er een einde aan het tijdperk Clara & Kornuiten in Restaurant & Galerie Het Armhuis, op Vlieland. De avontuurlijke horecapionier Clara Spannenburg beëindigt in goede harmonie met alle betrokkenen de exploitatie van het historische pand.
Clara Spannenburg was sinds 2001 de bevlogen gastvrouw in Het Armhuis, met haar dochter Caroline Nadine Wip als stille kracht op de achtergrond. De dames wisten het restaurant tot de favoriet van vele Vlielandbezoekers en locals te maken. Maar liefst elf keer werd Het Armhuis vermeld in restaurantlijsten als de Lekker500, Gault&Millau en de Michelingids.
Er is nog geen nieuwe uitbater gevonden voor het restaurant met zijn geweldige tuin. Martijn Visser Makelaardij gaat op zoek naar een geschikte kandidaat om dit bijzondere gebouw, met zijn rijke historie, een nieuwe invulling te geven.
De eigenaar van het pand, Nedstede Groep, dankt Clara Spannenburg voor de niet aflatende energie die zij de afgelopen jaren in Het Armhuis heeft gestopt en wenst haar veel succes toe met haar toekomstige activiteiten.
