CEO Nedstede Groep: ‘Horeca is de nieuwe retail’
Voor een bedrag van €26 miljoen heeft de Nedstede Groep een portefeuille met kantoor- en retailpanden in Amsterdam gekocht. Deze particuliere belegger wil de portefeuille nog veel verder uitbreiden. Waarmee? VJ sprak hierover met eigenaar Michael van de Kuit.
Nedstede Groep heeft de ambitie om haar bestaande portefeuille binnen een jaar verder uit te breiden met een volume van €50-60 miljoen. VJ vroeg aan Van de Kuit hoe zij dit willen aanpakken. Hij zegt hierop: “Wij zijn zeer actief op zoek naar uitbreiding voor onze portefeuille in Amsterdam. Op dit moment heeft de Nedstede Groep van de gewenste uitbreiding zo’n €20 miljoen onder contract. Wij spreken momenteel actief met een aantal vastgoedeigenaren in het kernwinkelgebied van Amsterdam, waaronder de Damstraat, Reguliersbreestraat en de 9 straatjes.”
Hij vervolgt: “Maar daarnaast ligt onze focus ook op uitbreiding van de horecaportefeuille. Ik kan alvast een primeur weggeven aan Vastgoedjournaal, want recent heeft Nedstede het bekende restaurant ‘D’Vijff vlieghen’ aan de Spuistraat 294-302, naast het NH City Hotel, gekocht. De komende jaren neemt de stroom toeristen alsmaar toe in het centrum van Amsterdam. We zien de omzetten in de horeca toenemen, horeca is de nieuwe retail.”
Tot slot zegt Van de Kuit: “Naast dit alles zijn we in een vergevorderd stadium met de aankoop van een Leisure Ontwikkeling op Overhoeks en de aankoop van een grondpositie van circa 100 hectare op 10 minuten van Amsterdam. We zijn volop in beweging dus.”
